GENUINE NATURAL LEATHER

Natural leather is leather made from animal hides (usually cow, goat, sheep, or pig) that has been tanned using either vegetable or chemical methods, but it retains its natural surface, texture, and imperfections. Unlike synthetic leather or heavily processed leather, natural leather shows the authentic grain and character of the animal skin.

Key Features of Natural Leather:

Made from Real Animal Hide

Not synthetic or plastic-based. Sourced as a byproduct of the meat industry in most cases.

Visible Natural Marks

May show scars, wrinkles, pores, and color variations—these are not flaws but part of the leather’s natural beauty.

Tanned (Not Coated)

Can be vegetable-tanned (using plant tannins, eco-friendly, ages well) or chrome-tanned (faster, softer, more flexible).  Natural leather is often unfinished or minimally finished, meaning no heavy synthetic coating that hides the natural surface.

Breathable and Durable

Allows air to pass through, unlike synthetic leather. Becomes softer and richer in patina over time.

Develops Patina

With use, natural leather darkens and gains a sheen, showing the life and story of the material.
